Simone is PhD Student in Bayesian Machine Learning under the supervision of Prof. Maurizio Filippone.

In 2015, Simone graduated with Honours in BSc Electronic and Information Technologies Engineering at University of Genova (IT). He then started the MSc in Electronic Engineering at Politecnico di Torino (IT) (graduated with Honours in 2018). In 2016, he participated to a Double Degree program (MSc in Computer Engineering), with Telecom ParisTech (Paris).

In 2017, he was Visiting Researcher in the System Level Design group at Columbia University in the City of New York (USA). Since 2018, he is a PhD Student in Bayesian Machine Learning and his current interests include Variational Inference, Bayesian Deep Learning and Bayesian Uncertainty Estimation.
